ADHD Driving Evaluation Center
If you have ADHD you’re at a higher risk for accidents and unsafe driving incidents than drivers without. Adolescents with ADHD are 36% more likely than other adolescent drivers to get into a car accident, according to a study published in JAMA Pediatrics.
In comparison, the untreated symptoms of ADHD in adult and young drivers can impair the driver’s ability in such a way that it resembles distracted or intoxicated driving.
There are things you can do to reduce the risk; contact our Diagnostic Driving Evaluation Center and we can help evaluate what supplemental driver training you need or your teen needs to get safely on the road to driving.
