The leading healthcare issue facing teens is driving related. Research has shown that the leading cause of injury and death for teens is the result of driver error.

Not all driver education programs are equal. Regulation does not guarantee quality.

Knepler Driving Schools attempts to address this epidemic with quality learning experiences meant to last a life time. As a result, many of our graduates qualify for insurance discounts of up to 75% with cooperating insurance programs. We were the first driving school in the nation selected to pilot the 75% cap discount program. Knepler Driving Schools has set the national standards for inclusion. This affords Knepler graduates of quality learning and an opportunity for tuition reimbursement. Many of our graduates have found that an investment in Knepler Driving Schools provides rewards in quality of life as well as continued financial gain until they reach twenty eight years of age. The insurance discounts are substantial as long as the graduate continues to qualify.

Mandatory Eight Hour Course: $150 Order online for $125
This is a online classroom course only and meets all Connecticut certificate requirements necessary prior to licensing. Teaching modalities include textbook, note taking, film, lecture and activities in values clarification and role playing.

Basic Program:- $725 Order online for $675
This program provides 30 hours of online classroom and 8 hours of road instruction. Teaching modalities include textbook, note taking, film, lecture and activities in values clarification and role playing. This program meets all requirements for insurance discounts with cooperating insurance companies.

Basic Plus Program:- $945
This program provides 30 hours of online classroom and 8 hours of road instruction and one DMV license exam service. Teaching modalities include textbook, note taking, film, lecture and activities in values clarification and role playing. This program meets all requirements for insurance discounts with cooperating insurance companies.

Deluxe Program Monroe Location only: $1815
This program provides 30 to 45 online classroom hours with available computer interactive and simulation and 20 hours of road instruction, one DMV licensing exam service. Teaching modalities include textbook, note taking, film, lecture and activities in values clarification and role playing as well as interactive computer and driver simulation activities.

Ultra Program: $3350
This program provides 30 to 45 online classroom hours with available computer interactive and simulation and 40 hours of road instruction, one DMV licensing exam service. Teaching modalities include textbook, note taking, film, lecture and activities in values clarification and role playing as well as interactive computer and driver simulation activities.

Drug and Alcohol/Safe Driving Practices– $150 Order online for $125
Eight (8) hours of online classroom instruction- includes 2 parent hours

• 16/17 year old can take state license test after 6 months of holding a learner permit
• Adults 18+ can take state license test after three 3 months of holding a learner permit

Classroom Only – $500
Thirty (30) hours of online classroom instruction- includes 8 hour D/A Program

Diagnostic Driving Evaluation Center Weekends (Monroe, CT) – $525.00 Evaluation and Training

The Diagnostic Driving Evaluation Center provides a comprehensive driver rehabilitation program that gives the opportunity to regain or maintain the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle while maintaining independence. Our center can provide rehabilitative evaluations and services in the following areas:

You have one year to complete the program otherwise a program fee will be applied.

Private in-person tutoring – $100/hr

Private in-person tutoring is the ultimate Knepler Effect experience. Tutoring includes but is not limited to full private permit training or private individual classroom.
